Clinical Director 

The El Paso Child Guidance Center is a nationally accredited, expanding, energetic child and family non-profit outpatient  mental health clinic that is a partner with Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas. We are looking to hire a full time Clinical Director. 

General Qualifications: 

Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related human services field from an accredited University or College.  State certification/licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor or Licensed Psychologist.  Preferably has a minimum five years post graduate experience and must have proven experience as a clinical director or other managerial position.  Must possess excellent management and mentoring skills. Must have a solid understanding of performance evaluation procedures.  Must have an excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field.  Ability to deal effectively with the community and the internal and external stakeholders.  Ability to organize and present information effectively, orally and in writing.  Ability to interpret policies accurately and develop effective operating procedures.  Ability to analyze and solve problems.  Ability to lead and motivate employees.  Ability to resolve conflicts and issues.  Ability to monitor, evaluate and make needed changes in processes and procedures to ensure goal achievement in the clinical program.  Ability to coordinate activities toward goal achievement.  Must possess computer skills in Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point).  Good judgment and sense of professional responsibility.  Must have training in evidence based practices for the treatment of trauma and trauma informed care.

General Description: 

The Clinical Director shall serve as chief program officer providing program management and oversight as well as planning, implementing and evaluating all clinical programs.  This position must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
